Surrounded by mountains and beautiful views. Ideal place for bird watching relaxation and walks to experience real Sri Lankan village life.One large comfortable bedroom upstairs and four bedrooms on ground floor, with en suite bathrooms, hot water shower, and bath tubs. All rooms bright and airy with Queen size beds. A cozy lounge with a fireplace and a veranda overlooking the garden. Variety of Delicious Sri Lankan and western food available. Guests are requested to bring their own beverages. Tour packages could be arranged to make your stay colourful. Accommodation available for around twenty people. Cook and caretaker available. MF Estate Holiday Bungalow is located 6KM (20 minutes drive) from Bandarawela town towards Attampitiya road.MF Estate Holiday Bungalow is located a 5-hour drive from Colombo International Airport. It takes 10 minutes by car from the bungalow to Bandarawela Railway Station and Bandarawela Hotel.

Accommodation

The colonial styled Holiday Bungalow is equipped with six elegant rooms. Four at the ground floor and two rooms upstairs with it's scenic mountain vista and are equipped with attached bath rooms with bath tubs while the other four at the ground floor is with showers. Each room consists a double and single beds. The rooms does not require air conditioners because the nature has gifted the bungalow and the surrounding with natural cool breeze. The fresh air will give you a glimpse into a world that offers simplicity and enchantment. Seated on the arm chair on veranda outside your room overlooking the green tea bushes and the observation of the visiting animals and screaming of birds will sooth your ears and surely will relax your mind. The entire bungalow is a blend of nature, which gives an eco friendly feeling while you stay.

Facilities

All rooms at Bungalow MF Estate Holiday have private balconies offering views of the tea plantation. They have cable TV and an en suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub. The tour desk helps guests organise visits to the tea factory and jungle trekking excursions. Other services offered by the estate include laundry and ironing. The restaurant serves Sri Lankan specialities, as well as, Western dishes at the estate. Room service is available.
