Apart from pepper and cinnamon, nutmeg is one of the most important spices in Sri Lanka. A special feature of this crop is that it can be obtained from both nutmeg and vasavasi spices. The apricot kernel, or the sum of the embryonic nutrients and the embryo, is called nutmeg. The slightly elastic red covering around the seed is called the vasodilation. Therefore, nutmeg is an important export crop among other spice crops.
Uses of Nutmeg:
The most useful part of the nutmeg plant is the nutmeg apricot. The apricot is covered with a thick shell. The shell is similar to rubber seeds. The apricot is egg-shaped, white, sweet-smelling, and has a spicy flavor. Used to flavor food.It is also used to make puddings and sauces to flavor fish or other curries. The wasabi nutmeg is like a coating around the shell. These are reddish in color. These wasabi can also be used as a seasoning.
Nutmeg seeds and wasabi are the two main products. Nutmeg is extracted from both nuts and wasabi. Uses ground nutmeg and wasabi in three-fifths powder. Nutmeg and lentils are mainly used in culinary purposes to flavor curries and other food products, confectionery and bakery products. It is also used in the preparation of beverages. Nutmeg is used as an ingredient in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. (Not to mention the use of inhabitants and script.)
